CMP up graded their forming capability in 2016 with the purchase of a new 12 foot 193 ton Ermak Speed Bend Pro.  The press controller has the touch screen, 3D images of the tooling and part to be formed.  This press has nearly every option that can be purchased.  We purchased tooling with the press and have bought additional tooling when the need has come up.  The press has the soft ware to calculate maximum tonnage to be used with a given material, bend length, and type of tooling. This prevents tool damage.  The 193 tons makes it possible to form ¼ thick mild steel up to 12 foot long and thicker materials with a shorter bend length.
